Not every bride is beaming when it comes to planning all the intricacies of a wedding.
Are you a bride-to-be that’s looking to get out of wedding planning? Perhaps you’re not a fan of all the traditions: the garter toss, endless dress shopping? Or maybe, it’s about avoiding the inevitable wedding drama between family, bridesmaids and more.
If you want to go through with the big day, but not all the planning, don’t worry – you’re not alone. Countless bridal parties have skipped the planning, hopped a plane (train or automobile) to Las Vegas and never looked back once they reached the doors of our chapel.
1. Keep the decisions simple
It’s all the little decisions that can truly make wedding planning overwhelming. But, luckily, a chapel wedding like Wee Kirk has to offer makes every decision so easy. Not sure of your outfit, the flowers, selecting a photographer or where? Let a wedding planner help you out! With packages (that do have add-ons for on-the-spot customization) the choices become 10 times easier. And, if you’re still pretty stuck on which chapel venue you’d like or what gown to wear, you can have a wedding planner iron out the details.
2. Leave the family drama behind
We don’t want to give moms, mother-in-laws or bridesmaids a bad reputation, but a slew of dramatic wedding TV shows often serve up one of those three as the biggest source of wedding drama – because it’s so common! If you’re looking to get out of town and get married without all the family or friend fuss, a Vegas wedding might be your number one option. The great thing tying the knot in a chapel is you have the option of keeping it intimate or leaving loved ones behind for a romantic getaway wedding. It’s your choice!
3. Save a ton
If it’s not family, it’s likely finances that’ll do in a lot of bridal parties. Between the venues, catering, attire and more, wedding costs can jump sky-high pretty quickly. While Vegas weddings can be inexpensive, they’re surely not cheap, meaning you can still have a memorable, quality wedding day without having to take out a loan. Prices vary by packages and preferences, but you’re sure to save thousands compared to a traditional wedding.
4. All in one honeymoon
For many couples (or grooms, for traditional duos who leave the planning up to him), planning a honeymoon can be an afterthought when they’re so focused on getting to altar. Or, others may consider putting off a honeymoon because of the cost (psss – see point three!). But, those who choose a Vegas chapel wedding can get two for the price of one: a wedding and honeymoon on a budget in a stunning and exciting location. Forget about the stress of planning multiple flights or too exhausted post-wedding to leave for your romantic vacation: you’re already there!
So, don’t wrestle a Grizzly bear, cancel your wedding or let your bridesmaids run the show. If a traditional, overpriced wedding isn’t for you, don’t force it! Just think about the wedding possibilities at Wee Kirk.
